Travelling with Kids

Our family's basic strategy for road trips is to look up our locations beforehand on Happy Cow and plan to stop at atleast one natural foods grocer per three days.

Here's a list of travel friendly snacks:cute girl in seat

-trail mix, nuts such as almonds, pecans, and walnuts
-dried apricots, figs, prunes, cranberries, raisins
-small juice boxes or cans of juice
-small soy milk boxes
-small cans of vegetable juice
-jars of natural baby food
-tofu jerky
-bottled water
-rice cakes

 

Groceries for meals on the road: whole wheat buns, peanut butter, apples, veggie meat, processed soy cheese slices, single-portion cereal boxes and soy milk.
